Mission
Be Teleios supports vulnerable young adults as they transition from childhood in institutional care into independent adults who fulfill their God-given potential.
Vision
We want all young adults who spent their childhood in institutions to have the same robust network of support as those who grew up within healthy families.
Our Name
Teleios: the Greek word (τέλειος) means to send a signal to “complete” its purpose. Jesus is commanding us to be the person God created us to be – fulfilling our purpose in life, discovering our identity.
Who We Serve
We are based in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, but are available to young adults in all areas of the country who are beginning their journey of adult life outside of institutional care.
History
In 1997, Anthony and Chris Granese, along with Fr. Den O'Donnell and Mary Anne Tauskey co-founded Amigos de Jesus – a Home for abandoned and vulnerable children in Honduras.
The question most donors have always asked is, "How will you prepare the children to transition back into the Honduran culture as mature young adults?"
Founded in 2026, Be Teleios is our answer – providing the structures, resources, and mentorship that vulnerable young adults from any group home in Honduras need to navigate life's toughest obstacles and achieve their full potential.
